What is virtual therapy, and why choose it?
Virtual therapy mirrors in-person sessions, allowing you to attend from home with flexibility and time savings.
How does virtual therapy work, and what platform is used?
Sessions are conducted online via the Grow Therapy platform, accessible by computer or phone.
How do I book my first appointment, and what should I expect?
To schedule, call or use the website. The first session will cover your past, health, and current mental state. Prepare by ensuring a stable internet connection, finding a private space, and getting comfortable.
Can I try a session before committing, and what’s the cost?
A 30-minute consultation is available. Each session costs $115, with insurance accepted from Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Kaiser, Optum, Medicaid, and others.
What’s the length of a session, and what’s the cancellation policy?
Sessions last 53-60 minutes. Provide at least 24 hours notice for rescheduling to avoid charges.
How is payment handled?
Payments are processed on the Grow Therapy platform at the end of each session.
What if I need tech support or want to contact my therapist outside of scheduled sessions?
For tech support, use the Grow platform. For non-emergency contact, message your therapist through Grow or email.
What equipment is needed, and what if there are tech issues?
A computer or phone with reliable internet is ideal. Rescheduling is available if connection issues arise.
Is virtual therapy secure, and how is my information protected?
Confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and secure record-keeping are top priorities.
Do you offer sliding scale fees or prescribe medications?
Yes, sliding scale fees are available. Medications aren’t prescribed, but referrals can be made.
Who are the therapists, and what are their qualifications?
Mrs. Leslie Bottoms, LPC NCC, specializes in anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and personality disorders, offering services for adults only.
How are emergencies handled?
For emergencies, call 911 or go to an ER. Non-emergency support is available.
